N66MG36HSL Black is a nylon 6.6 compound, reinforced 36% by weight of a blend of glass fiber and mineral, which exhibits property and processing characteristics intermediate between all-mineral and all-glass formulations.

 

N66MG36HSL Black exhibits high strength and rigidity, both at ambient and high temperatures, combined with much improved control of warp and sinking in large area or complex shape parts. Typical of semi-crystalline polymers, reinforced nylons exhibit outstanding resistance even at elevated temperatures to the effects of a wide range of chemicals, solvents, oils and greases and are therefore suitable for such demanding environments as automotive under-hood.

 

As with all nylon 6.6 formulations, N66MG36HSL Black processes very easily to produce parts of good surface gloss, even with only moderate molding tool surface temperatures.
